AP Clerk (Temp, 2 month assignment)

Job Description

Ledgent is partnering with a long term client in the east metro looking for an additional AP Clerk for their team to help with an influx of AP invoices. This is an on-site role in Saint Paul. Estimated 2 months (potential to be extended). $25-$26/hour.

Job Duties/Description:

  • File entered vouchers, pull vouchers selected during the check run, and file paid vouchers post check run
  • Create new vendors in ERP system as required
  • Complete credit applications as requested
  • Run and balance monthly reports
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
  • Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying Federal ID numbers, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of AP invoicing experience
  • Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention to detail
  • Proficient usage of MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Experience in a mid-size office setting
